Launched the boat at 7:15 AM and the wind was 20mph so it was really tough early going, stayed in the shallow west end for most of the morning with only one fish, a 4.2 lb on a swimjig. After the sun peaked out, we ventured into the deeper water near the concrete spillway and that's when my wife caught a nice 7lb 10oz beauty on a large T-rig worm in 18ft of water. We hung out in the deep and fought the wind to boat 11 total, smallest being 2.5 lbs and others that included 4.02, 5.5, 2.12, 4.8, 4.11 and 5.8 most on lipless cranks and squarebills. 9G is a great property and we can't wait to get back out there soon!
