We fished Gilmer, Riley Lake on Saturday.  First of all, a big thanks to the owner for sharing this lake house and property.  The cabin is a real treat and I look forward to staying again in the future.  The combination of cold and stained water made the fishing a bit tough.  Water temp 48* up to 52* with 18" vis.  Outside temps were 41* to 68* mostly sunny, calm to slight breeze.  We landed 17 with only 1 2lber returned.  The remainder were mostly dinks with 2 or 3 between 13" and 14".  The fish were scattered around the shore and a sm wht spinnerbait on a ML spinning outfit accounted for most of them.  A wht trash skinny dipper accounted for the rest - but not for lack of trying out crankbaits, senkos, larger spinnerbaits, flukes, T-Rig worm, even fly rod popper.  Most of the vegetation had died back except right around the perimeter.  The lake is tree lined and the water was well up into the trees this time.  Had a wonderful time - blessed!
