The wife and I had a fun outing to Angel Lake May 1st. Property looks great - clean and recently mowed. Met the owner, Chris - very nice helpful guy.

We launched our little boat easily then caught a bass on my second cast! Altogether caught about 10 bass - all scrappy! Only one dink which we harvested. Biggest almost 5 pounds:

​Caught them on pumpkinseed Senkos, weighted silver Super Flukes and frog colored Pompadeaur Jr topwater. Lots of clear shoreline for bank fishing. Nice large post oak tree near the launch area is great for relaxing and picnicing. This would be an awesome spot to bring kids or beginner anglers: easy access, clean and easy to fish and catch fish! We will definitely be back.
