Fished 3 hours in the afternoon of Good Friday, but I would not call the fishing "good".  The day was awesome with weather in the 70s, mostly sunny, light to moderate winds and I spent it on the water with my 12 year old son….so it was great. The lake boat was swamped full of water so it was a good thing I brought my boat.  Recent rains had the lake overflowing and somewhat stirred up but not too bad.  We caught a 14" and 17" bass and both were within 3 feet of the bank and both on baby brush hogs.  My son threw a spinnerbait a good portion of day but didn't land any.  Had several other nibbles on soft plastics.  With all the brush piles marked, this would be great for crappie fishing.  We didn't fish that much of the lake so I will probably go back out sometime only based on the convenience factor of this location.
