Took my brother out to DLE - West and was just good to be outside enjoying the lake and the sunshine after a stretch of wet weather.  Beautiful day, E wind 5-8 mph, 48 to 70 degree temps, (no report on water temp), visibility only about 8 to 10 inches - tea stained but not chocolate milk.  Of course the property is a treat, paved drive, wide and stable boat already in the water with two charged batteries.  Fishing was sporadic, fish were just isolated around the shoreline primarily in the upper half of the lake.  No concentration of fish or pattern.  Ended up landing 14 with 7 harvested and 7 returned.  The returned ones were chunky and healthy between 1lb 15oz to 3lb 15oz and most productive bait was a red lipless crank along with a green pumpkin soft stickbait.  Should definitely consider a trip to DLE - West!  I'd say our day of fishing was a 3 outta 5 stars.
