My brother and I fished Angel Lake for the first time on Tuesday. Conditions were pretty much perfect for late Fall fishing. Angel is a nice addition to the club. We landed 18 and harvested 3 of those. The remainder were hard-fighting, chunks between 2lbs and 3lbs 12oz. Interestingly, about the only action we had was on Senkos (much like what Herb reported) with an additional one or two on a paddletail swimbait. Also, the bite was very subtle. The fish were not attacking anything. The lake level is fairly low, so traversing the muddy shoreline is no bargain, but all in a day's work chasing our addiction, haha. This location is convenient to Czech bakeries in West and Still Smokin' BBQ in Abbott.
