Fingerling
We fished Apr 6 on the West lake. Caught a few chunky two-pounders at dawn, some on poppers and one on a white lizard. The day was windy with clear skies, post-front, but we managed to catch a few throughout the day on grubtails. We took off about 4 hours during the day then fished worms all around the dam at dusk, but we didn't get a bite even though we worked them deep and slow. Barometric pressure was very high. The lake is down a couple of feet, maybe to kill off shallow grass?
