Slot Fish
Bank fished on Friday from about 9 am until 2 PM. I did not get the boat out as the wind had already picked up. Outside temp was 58 when I began and 82 when I finished. Sky was bright and clear. Water was still muddy from Wednesday rains. Visibility was maybe 4 to 6 inches. This had me somewhat concerned, but since I was fishing shallow, it did not shut things down. For those interested in bank fishing, I was able to circle the entire property in about 4 hours while presenting 3 different baits at the various stops. Fish hit on top water, yellow/white spinner baits, and chartreuse Wave Worms rigged wacky style. Caught 13 and culled 8. The ones tossed back were all about 14/15 inches. First time there. Property is in fine condition and there were still some Blue Bonnets to enjoy.
