I took a good friend and we fished the prettiest lake with the best structure as well that I have fished yet in the club.
We fished on Saturday, The 29th, and caught 13 that were under the 16" mark. I caught an 8lber and a 7.25lber as well.
The boat seats look as though they are about to break at the base where the pole is screwed into the boat. The driver's seat is especially the one that looks as though is is about to. They may be fine, but they are a bit loose I guess just so the club and property owners and Steve knows about it.
Lastly, it would be easier to navigate this lake with so much submerged timber right under the water line with a hand-controlled trolling motor instead of foot control in my opinion.
We got stuck about 3 times on these under the water stumps and it took a while to spin off.
This lake just looks awesome and the day was perfect and beautiful and the property is gorgeous. Lake is pretty clear and stained a bit with visibility at about 12" below the surface. We spoke to Rocky, the property owner I believe, and he is so nice and I will definitely be back but probably in my own boat mostly because I am use to a hand-controlled trolling motor(maybe not experienced enough to fish a foot controlled one - hard to control in my experience).
All in all, an awesome day! I love this property and lake!

I couldn't agree more on the property Brad. It is a gem. I'm glad you caught a 7 and an 8. That's a good day in my book.
Stay after it on the foot controlled TM. You'll get to a point where it is a mindless activity and both hands will remain free to fish with, especially on a windy day. It is a frustrating task until you get the hang of it and then you'll dread using anything hand controlled.
If we stay active culling the little guys out, we can expect the fish to keep fattening up.
Glad you had a great first experience out there.
