Fished West lake Saturday the 9th from 6-10:30 AM. Caught one 3.5 immediately on a spinner bait. Then it shut OFf! Caught 3 additional small fish on Senko and trick rig Senko with one on a watermelon fluke. The lake is very low compared to my last trip there in mid June.
We tried chatter baits, jigs, TR worms, crank baits but they were not biting. We hit the brush piles hard based on the last report but the bites we got were about 4-5 ft off the bank.
I’ve had great success here before. I think the high atmospheric pressure closed their mouths.
