Fished from 6:30 to 2:30.  Water temp started off at 84 and got up to 88 ( I should have jumped in) under mostly sunny skies. Water color is somewhere in between chocolate milk and east TX stained. Caught a 3lber on first cast on top water but only caught a couple of others on the surface. Fishing was slow until I noticed some fish feeding in the middle of the lake ( I think they were bluegill) and started throwing a medium diving crankbait - primarily a Spro Little John MD in chartreuse black back but they hit other colors as well.  Caught 30 by 10 AM. Also threw deep diving crank. Tried other lures/ plastics but fast moving crank was what they wanted. Caught 50 with 5 culls, 1-5 lber, 2-4 lbers, and a number of threes. All the fish fight hard. Beautiful property, easy to get to (not too many turns and well marked roads). Most fish I’ve caught on a PW property. Be carefull with sliding gate, I pulled one side too far over and it fell down, I was lucky I could get it back up and on it’s tracks again by myself.

I'm glad you had a great day Chris!  I think we fished out of my boat when we fished together so I don't remember your rig.  I was just wondering what your launch experience was like.  Did you try the big boat launch or drive down to the next section?

Jackson- I could not find the small boat launch area for my 10 ft Bassbuster with wheels so used the large/medium boat launch area. Lauching downhill was no problem, pulling it back up the hill provided a good workout in the heat.
