Fingerling
Took my good friend, Rick, as a guest to Henderson, East. Weather was great. North wind blew enough to be a bother, but not a problem. Fish were active early, but not on top water. Caught around 30 early in the shallow water on the south end. Almost all on plastic swim baits. Afternoon was slow until around 4 then the bite picked up. The bait of choice in the evening was the watermelon brush hog in 5-10 ft. of water. On the day we caught 46 with 3 returned and 43 harvested. Two of these were in the 1.5 - 2 lb. range, but Rick caught the big fish of the day around 5:30. She pulled the scale down to 8.2 lbs. Not much better than good weather, good fishing, and all this shared with a good friend. Thanks PWF.

Bob,
Do you have a picture of Rick's fish? If so, send it along and we can post it for you.
One big fish like that can turn a "good" day to a "great" day.
