We have some great places to lodge and fish and Laneville should be at the top of your list when you want to take the family fishing. With no offense to any of the club properties, Laneville has the nicest accommodations and one of the most manicured properties in the club. There are some giant bass in the lake and small but growing population of 4 to 6 lb fish. 90% of what you will catch is 8 to 14 inch fish, but most members leave with one or two  fish over 5 lbs. However, Laneville is so much more than fishing. Great lodging, private pier, outdoor fireplace, basketball court, playground, Did you know that up to 8 people can stay and fish all you want for $1000 from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning? That is $125 a day per person for lodging two nights lodging and fishing. The members who book, almost always return. Must be a reason? Oh yea, this was one of the giant fish we shocked up at Laneville on Wednesday.
