I fished alone from noon until about 6:30 pm, after a morning business meeting in Paris.  Yes, not the peak time, but I still boated about 15 fish and lost at least 7 others.  As in other reports, vast majority were 14.5 - 17.5 inches—healthy, hard fighters, aggressive.  Caught all fish along the dam and the east side.  The west side looked good with steeper drop off, but no hits there.  Fish were chasing bugs and bait fish in the weeds in 2-8 feet of water.  Most were caught on float worm or TX rigged lizard, but had some action on cranks, including having two on one bait (both got off!)  Only one hit on a floating frog and that was a fluke in deeper water.  No hits oddly on spook or popper.  No hits on cranks pulled across middle of lake looking for humps.  Action slowed between 3:30 and about 6 pm.  It was starting to turn on again at 6 pm, but I had to hit the road back to Plano or risk an unhappy spouse..  Harvested three, including two just under 14 inches and one dink.  The owner stopped by after feeding the cattle, and he is a very nice guy.  Nice property, and good for plenty of solid action.
