Fished Tarpley August 30th starting at sunrise until around 11. I was hoping for a top water bite, but had only one short strike. 

Conditions were

No wind

blue skys

water temp. 82

air temp. 74-89

water was clear 2-3'

Tried torpedo, spook, frog and jitterbug with no luck. 

Caught the 3 under 14 on med/deep diving crank baits. 

Had a good hit on a green wacky worm, but could not land it.
