Went with my son to fish a few hours in the afternoon at Hopkins.  Very windy, but both lakes are well protected from the wind.  Enjoyable way to spend the afternoon before Father’s Day, tube fishing with my son.  Hot day but the water was cool and pleasant.  Saw a father at the smaller lake fishing from the bank with his wife and two daughters.  My son and I caught about 15 fish, and happy to see the fish larger than when we were here 2 years ago.  The fish were all between 1.5 and 3 lbs,, very healthy and strong fighters. Caught all fish on black worms.
