Had a great two days fishing HomePlace and Beaver.  Boated right at 60 fish, half of them in the 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 range.  Largest came in at 4 1/2.  Worked hard and covered a lot of water fishing topwaters and grass pigs.  Fishing did turn off Saturday afternoon when the light rain and cold set in.

Outstanding fishery with great boats and beautiful solitude!

In Fisherman TV show with Doug Stange. Usually takes a couple of days to get one 6 min segment on their show. In Fisherman does three 6 min segments per 30 minute show; filming a different species of fish in each of the 3 segments. When fishing on a public lake or river it normally takes them about 3 days to get a 6 min segment. Private lakes are generally easier for them to get good fish on film.  We have been featured on their program a few other times. In fact Doug had his single best day of bass fishing in his 25+ years of filming at one of our lakes (we no longer lease this lake) about 10 years ago. That show made their best of best show special they had about 8 years ago.  The filming we do next week will air in the Fall of 2014.
