Great location. Got too pricy in my book for the distance traveled from Big D. Much different look than E Texas and worth a visit although if you have never been. The lodging is the value there. I have never seen so many turkey in my life! We need to be able to fish 1/2 day upon arrival with the distance from Dallas. I think you have to book a whole day to make this lake work for you on each trip still by the rules.
What was the water level and moss conditions there?

The lake is full and the grass is not an issue. You may book a 1/2 day upon arrival as long as you fish a whole day the day after.
