Reservation Number : 48071
Property Name : Bluebonnet Ridge
Reservation Date : 09/20/2026 AM - 09/20/2026 AM
Total Fish/Sizes : 12/biggest was 2.5lb
Lures Used : Soft plastics, spinner bait, jig head minnow

First thing I want to say is whoever came last to the small pond you left a whole bag of soft plastics on the bank and left a chatterbait with a bunch of braid right where most people park. Not cool at all. These are people’s properties that let us fish on them, have enough respect to pick up your trash.

Anyway, pretty good morning. Got there right as the red shined through the clouds so about 6:40, the bite was on fire for about 40 mins they were eating everything. Caught 5 fish in a row, but as soon as the sun fully came up the bite completely shut off. Had to grind it out with finnese baits to catch some fingerlings. Aside that pretty chill morning.

That’s funny, when I was there two weeks before you, it was 100 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and they were active all day. When it would slow down, I would go sit in the air conditioned truck for an hour and rest the fish, then go back out and see more action. Funny how fishing can be like that.

By the way, it wasn’t me who left the trash. It must have been someone between my and your visits.

The trash thing never used to be an issue and now it’s every other trip and usually a club boat full of rain water to boot.
