This was my first trip to Tara. Very nice place with easy access and boat launch. The lake itself was different than any other than i have fished to this point in the club. Keep in mind i have only been a memeber since January and have only fished 5-6 other lakes so far. The water was stained with a visibilty of about 1 1/2’. It appeared to be full. The biggest diffrence was very little grass to fish as compared to other lakes that I have been to. It took a while to figure it out as obvious targets are also limited. With that said we started fishing the isolated rocks, scattered lay downs and slight depth changes with texas rig soft plastics and things got going. The quality of fish in this lake is some of the best i have seen yet and i definitley will be going back. Its a beautiful property and I have to believe that there is a great chance to catch some really big bass. Thanks to Private Water Fishing for what you do.
