Briar Branch is looking good,  the water has receded slightly from my last visit but still up a bit. Lots of vegetation,  the north end is pretty much choked off. Visibility was around 2 feet. 

Started my day with the realization that I forgot the battery cable for my Autopilot. Ok,  I have a paddle,  let's go old school. Couldn't get my Garmin to powrr up,  whatever. Then I had a fish break off my whopper plopper.  I had another fish break off a chatterbait. I had an eyelet break off of my chatterbait rod.

Somehow in all of this I managed to wrangle in 4 good bass and 1 little guy.  I won't say it was a bad day,  I did enjoy the lake and my time on the water!
