The weather was forecast to be thunderstorms all day, but that ended up not happening. It was absolutely pouring when we go there, then it passed. For the first fifteen minutes or so there were fish hammering shad on top, anything moving in the top two feet of the water column was getting hit. And then it died. The sun came out and the rest of the day was a grind. The fish I cought were absurdly fat. After the sun was up I saw a lot of bigger fish. They would follow my bait back in groups, but not bite. If I ripped the bait away from them or even out of the water, they would fire up and attack it when it stopped. Buuuut once you did that the other fish in the pack wouldn't follow again. I'd like to go to this lake more and figure it out, but the two person minimum isn't in my budget for regular trips.  On the right day, someone after the big ones is going to get a DD here, that's for certain.
