  1. On the water at 7:30 am, 51’ and a very cool breeze.
  2. Ended up becoming a beautiful day with way to much sun shine and somewhat windy.
  3. Lake Level down 3 to 4 ft and water clarity 36”.
  4. Typically I would start off fishing the shore line around the lake based on present conditions. However; to my surprise there was no activity at all. I had tried a wide variety of colors both Tx. Rig and Wacky.
  5. I’m assuming due to the lower lake level the typical grass lines are not developed and creating unusual conditions for this lake.
  6. Reset and start over!  Start fishing the next thermal layer and change to heavier weights, which changed everything.
  7. One of my favorite things about this lake is all the timber and structure, however; due to the lake level this changed everything.
  8. Ultimately I ended up spot fishing around the lake based more on the thermal layer than anything else.
