Lures Used : SB Crank, Up-swim Jerk bait, Rattle Trap, Creature, etc: Most success was with black and silver combinations or dark plastics. Targeting Just above the grass line worked best in the main lake

Got a late start and began fishing around 0900 and finished at 1630. Extremely windy, gusts to 40 mph. Caught 35, culled 3 below the slot. This is where you learn to grass fish. Couldn’t go completely weightless because of the wind. Beautifully kept property with clear water. South end of the lake (bridge side) wasn’t fishable because it was less than a foot deep. Everything north of the canal was fishable and that is where we caught all our fish with many just over slot and the rest all above 2.5 lbs. All very healthy.
