Started at daylight and had 10 in the boat by 8:30 am. Cloudy morning and no moon let them get on the bite early. However about 9 am the bite slowed, the wind picked up and I was trying everything along the south bank mostly.
Red flag warnings made me call it early but overall it was a promising start and I'm sure on a better day more fish to be had.

That's a bummer. Was it your first time there? That lake has been my favorite I have been to since a couple others left the club, but the weather will say it's going to be nice and then day of it can be rough.
