I had the pleasure of staying the night at Kickapoo. I got to the lake around 4:30 and set up camp. I was able to fish for about an hour and caught a couple, mostly culls and slightly bigger than. Next day was a feeding frenzy. I successfully completed a 5 lure slam. Biggest was 3.2#. Caught my PB crappie as well at 1.6#. Caught them deep and also shallow throughout the day. Great time and would love to come back during spawn season!

Thanks for the great report. It sounds like you had an incredible stay at Kickapoo. Completing a five lure slam is impressive work and it is awesome that you were able to dial in both the deep and shallow bites like that.
Congratulations on the personal best crappie as well! A 1.6 lb slab is a solid fish. Kickapoo is a blast during the spawn, so we look forward to having you back out here when things really start to heat up.
