Slow, and Grey but a lot of fun at H.C. Went the PM slot, day before the winter blast

Caught 12 bass, and 1 large Crappie, mainly off of small swimbaits, trick worm shaky head, and small spinners…all between .75 to 1.5….

little wind, and nearly 2 foot clarity….saw several chasing plenty of bait fish, so they were out there. Bank fished this afternoon mainly by bridge, both sides.

Will be back.

Thanks for sharing the update! 12 bass and a slab crappie makes for a busy afternoon, especially with that winter front moving in the next day.

It’s great to hear the baitfish are active and the clarity is holding at two feet, that’s a good sign for the health of the ecosystem out there. Those small swimbaits and shaky heads are definitely the right call when they’re keyed in on smaller forage.

Stay warm during this cold snap, and we look forward to seeing you back out there once things thaw out!
