Total Fish/Sizes : 10 Bass total, 2 culls, 8 from 2 to 3 1/4 lbs.
Lures Used : Jig n Craw, 5" soft jerkbait
Caught 8 good keepers on Moonshine today before catching two small culls. Fish were in the grass beds in 8 to 12 feet of water. Four of the fish were in the 3 to 3 ¼ lb range. Water temp was 41 early and rose to 44 by 3:00. Had 3 other fish pull off in the grass. Really surprised to catch so many fish over 14” before catching a cull.

Moonshine continues to show why it’s such a consistent producer, especially for quality fish. Eight bass in the 2 to 3¼ lb range is a strong day, particularly with water temps starting in the low 40s. Targeting those grass beds in 8 to 12 feet clearly paid off, and the jig-and-craw / soft jerkbait combo is a solid cold-water pattern there.
It’s also impressive to catch that many keeper size fish before seeing a cull, sounds like Moonshine is fishing very well right now.
