Started fishing around 1pm. I wanted to learn this lake so I spent a lot of time exploring the lake and also messing with my new fish finder. Water temp was 57 degrees and water was very clear 5+ feet. Not too windy also. Beautiful weather. Just caught 5 dinks, only one over 14 inches. Caught on underspin jig, mooch minnow, senko.
Beautiful lake that has everything- deeper water, timber, weeds, points, rocky banks. Looking forward to coming back.

Even on a slower bite, it sounds like a productive trip in terms of learning the lake. Clear water, 57 degree temps, light wind, and time spent dialing in a new fish finder all go a long way toward setting you up for better success on future trips. Six O Ranch really does offer a great mix of structure with the deeper water, timber, weeds, points, and rocky banks you mentioned.
