Booked an all day trip to my favorite Crappie lake. Got boat on the lake around 8am and fished until 2pm. Lake is very full and very clear water temp was 59. It was 37 degrees and warmed up to 45 with a steady north wind. I came with plenty of warm clothes and some hand warmers. Was not sure if the cold front was going to shut them down, but it turns out that they were very active. I started jigging in around 14 feet and immediately hooked up with a two pound crappie. I fought the wind all day, but was able to get a rhythm going. I caught several bass in the 2 to 5 pound range on crappie jigs and even caught a crappie that went 2.25. It turned out to be a great day on club waters. I have made many posts about the giant crappie this lake holds so if you enjoy them as much as I do I encourage you to book a trip I am posting a picture of  the exact jigs that I always use here
