Mike and I fished from noon to 5:30.  It was a chilly afternoon with a northeast wind and blue bird party cloudy skies. And a cold front went through the night before.  Lake level looked down 2’ to 3’.  Water temper was 58 – 59 degrees.  Water clariy 6”.  It was a tough afternoon.  We caught 6.  The biggest one was 6 ¼ lbs.  Four were 1 ½ to 4 lbs and one was a dink.  A spinner bait was the only lure that worked,  The bigger fish were caught in the deeper water out in front of the dam.  We could see lots of fish in this area, but only were able to get a couple to bite.  We did try the back of the lake with the timber and caught one.  Mike and I really like to fish this property and have had great results in the past.  This was not one of those days other than a fat 6 ¼.  Road in was dry and  a nice boat ramp. We will fish this property again.
