Amazing Day of Bass Fishing

I have be honest I miss read the signs and ended up the wrong lake and only caught 5 fish. Eric came by and pointed me to the lake that I should've been on. There's no apparent road to Long Lake. I old yellow truck is the marker you want to look for an immediately go to the left. Once I got on the correct lake, I actually had a great day as you will read below.

I am a new member and I do not want to break the rules. But I have to say this is the best body of water that I have been on so far that was not a mud hole.

I wanted to share the highlights of my bass fishing trip today, which turned out to be an incredible day on the water, despite facing some challenges with a 20 mile-an-hour wind. The weather added a bit of excitement and made the experience even more memorable on my small lake boat.

Throughout the day, I managed to catch a total of 24 largemouth bass, which is quite a haul! Among them, the largest one weighed in at an impressive 6.4 pounds. It was such a thrill to reel that big one in, and it definitely made my day. Interestingly, I also caught 6 crappies using bass lures, a pleasant surprise that added variety to my catch.
On a side note, I noticed that out of all the bass I caught, only 6 were under 14 inches—this suggests that the population of larger fish in the area is thriving, which is fantastic news for future fishing trips!

Overall, it was a great day filled with excitement, and I can't wait to get out there again. If you're interested in joining me on the next trip, let me know! I'm sure we could have an amazing time together battling the wind and reeling in some fantastic catches.
