We came into the property around sunrise with heavy fog so we delayed launching the boat until we could see where we were going. Caught two fish on the first two casts with a chatterbait off the rock boat launch. In the deeper water off the boat launch I caught a couple of nice fish with a white jig and rage tail trailer. The most fish were caught with a finesse jig (PB&J) on the western edge reeds. The largest fish was caught with that same lure on the southeastern end of the pond, was about 5lbs.

It’s a deep pond, over 30 feet in some places. We had our most luck casting into the shallow edges and working down into the deeper water. The water was extremely clear and the morning provided lots of action. The bite did dry up about 10:30a so we were skunked for that last hour or so. Joe came down and talked to us as we were loading up, great guy and appreciate him having us out!
