Like everyone sayes, the weeds made launching difficult. Water was pretty muddy and avaoiding weeds was a real issue. The clouds were thick so I could only see the vegetation when I was on top of it. My casts that didn’t land in weeds usually had a bass on. It was pretty fun, but kind of tiring plucking off the weeds so I went to the other lake. Much clearer and I landed two on big baits. One bass I missed looked pretty dang big and I was bummed to miss it, but hooked op on a four pounder right after losing it. I plan to go again this week as this is the most productive lake for me near the new house. Lake Clark was also way more turbid on the way home, so I guess runoff is affecting clarity all around that area.
