Spent the latter half of a beautiful afternoon w/ teaching my young son to fish for large mouth bass. We weren’t efficient (as was expected trying to teach a 7 year old) and I didn’t spend much time fishing myself, but during those few moments, I was able to hook up on six large mouth bass that ranged from about 1 lb. to 4-½ lbs. My son made a core memory netting the 4 ½ lb’er for me. Access to the pond was easy with the gravel road down to the concrete boat ramp, which was very much appreciated given the last two days it had been raining.
