Got to lake it was 58 degrees and feeling good. The lake is sitting 2 feet below the spillway/overflow. Launched the boat and out gorilla patch is still holding strong.  Right off the bat had two bald eagles fly over us. Then we saw the chase. Two bucks chasing three does in and out of the lake.  The fishing was pretty steady catching as smaller bass pinning bait fish against the shore.  The bigger fish were in deeper water and were taking our yellow magic and whopper poppers.  The bigger fish didn't get active until 4 pm or so.  Just a great day enjoying the outdoors.  We need rain big time as the trees are starting to show it.  Pray for a gully washer this week.
