Keeper
Wife and I fished Saturday, Oct 26th @ Muenster Tara – weather was mild and fairly calm with gentle breeze from the north to keep things very comfortable. The lake water was 69F and dirty with 4IN viz and no vegetation. The level was low, Low, LOW. You’d think maybe the fish would be bunched and gettable on the fishable area of the lake, but they eluded us and/or ignored our offerings. We did manage to land 7 from about 7:30AM to 2:30PM all from just shy of 2lbs up to 2.8lbs. The ONLY bait that worked was a T-Rig either Z-Craw worm or curly tail Gambler – in June Bug or Green Pumpkin (and we tried a lot of different techniques) and only on rock – either at the dam or on the rocky eastern bank. All-in-all good day to be out with my favorite partner. Fingers crossed for some significant winter rains!
