Fished Tues morning with another member.The lake was down maybe 2 ft but it did not impact any area that we fished.Visibility 18” and the vegetation in the lake itself has died off including the black sticky stuff that had always been found on the bottom. We fished a lot of baits on the bottom,caroline rigs, and seldom had to remove any vegetation.There was vegetation around the shore line but it was not very thick nor did it extend out very far.

We were fishing out of kayaks but noticed someone had backed a trailer into the lake.Caught 23 bass and one large crappie the largest bass was 3 lbs and 6 were under 14” ,which were returned to the lake.Used only plastics.Caroline rig junebug paddle tail and a tube bait were the most productive with about half the fish being 10 yrds out from the shore line.Normally we do well with wacky rigs but this trip it only produced one crappie and two bass
