First let me say that I grew up in Hondo tx about 10 miles from this lake! Fished it with my friends in high school! So this lake has memories! Ghost of the past! Anyway caught 14 bass 12 dinks 2 over slot biggest about 31/2 to 4 pds! Had to fish for the ones I caught! Bass were in the grass beds! There were about 100 ducks on it and 5 wild swans. You ever seen a swan fly? Amazing day! All I know is is i got a mess of bass in my freezer now! Great day!
