Ralph Deleonardise and I started fishing about 9 on a crisp, cool morning.  A cool front came trough the day before but the water was still at 72 degrees.  Sky was clear blue and you could see the hawks looking for lunch all day long. We caught a total of 5 bass mostly just before lunch time.  Three were in the 2-3 lb range, the other two were less than 1 lb.  We had the best luck on purple/black senko and a dark colored salamander.  Couldn’t get any bites on any of the topwater lures or jigs. Water was clear and no vegitation.
