Hit up Tear Drop Lakes in the AM. Couldn’t get anything on moving baits, but got a few bites working a Texas rig around dropoffs and submerged logs/wood. Got a 1 lber and a 2lber on a green pumpkin worm. Seems like there’s some decent bass, but probably a bit tricky to fish given the lack of good cover and shallow, grassy, muddy banks on the lakes I looked at. Would like to come back and fish it again someday.
