Got to the lake a little after 7:00.  Beautiful morning, temp in low 60’s. light wind.  Lake was 2 feet low, maybe more, and choclate brown.  Started with the frog with no hits. Threw the swimbait with no hits.  Went to the Texas Rig in some structure and finally caught 3 under 14” and 1 at 2 lbs.  At about 10:30 my Minn Kota motor started running slow and then stoped completely.  The wind had started to pick up so I paddled my way back to the launch point.  Tried the Carolina Rig from the dam with no luck, so called it a day.  Days like this make the good ones even better.  Can’t wait for the next time out (with a new motor!).
