We had a great afternoon at Acker on 9/23.  The wind/weather changed 3 or 4 times but we chased the fish as the pattern changed.  The early afternoon bite was in the timber when it was hot with low wind.  Once it changed to overcast and calm waters, the fish were on the edge of the grass and out in the open.  We were ready for a topwater bite before sunset but the north winds hit and we had to load up before the rain started.  We caught 45 in the afternoon and culled 33, biggest fish on a white fluke and numbers on darker colored senkos fished weightless.  Had the opportunity to meet the owner today – what a great guy!

This lake has a lot of potential and we need to keep culling to get it there.  Looking forward to going back to this lake.
