Was slow going, lots of vegitation on the main pond and now on the smaller pond. We caught three in quick succession on the main pond and one near the dam of the smaller pond. Largest was 2.5lbs. We fished a lot of Texas rigged plastics, had the most luck with the lizard and caught one on the bubble gum worm. Hard to fish anything not weedless with the vegitation. Beautiful property and definitely lots of fish. They’re just hard to get to with all the vegitation. Last time we were here we could fish the smaller pond quite a bit easier and had more luck. 4 fish in 6 hours was sort of a bummer.
