The lake is way down.   The timber at the east end is nearly dry.   Fish the weeds and find the fish.   They seemed to prefer a top water frog over anything else.  Topped out with a great 5 pounder.    Fishing would turn on for a few minutes and then go cold again.   Still one of my favorite lakes in the region.    No culls
