Had a business trip to Shreveport yesterday where I didn’t need to get there until close to dinner time, so I booked the afternoon slot at Harrison Ranch.  It was rainy and windy but I got in just under 3 hours of fshing.  Caught 7 Bass in the big lake on Frogs (5 – largest 3lbs.) and Buzzbbaits (2).  Caught 10 in the smaller lake, all on Flukes and Flush.  The largest here was about 2 ½ lbs.  Had 2 bigger blows up that I missed, one on the Frog and one on the Buzzbait, both in the big lake.  I’d like to think those might’ve been some much bigger fish.  Both lakes had plenty of shoreline grass and cover.  Lots of good targets and decent access nearly all the way arond.  Good looking lakes.

I didn’t relaize until I got to the property that the house was emtpy, really more so looked to be abandoned, with broken doors and a lot of over growth.  I kept hearing stuff behind me in the house as I was fishing the bank right in front of it.  There was plenty of trash around and I thought there could be homeless or squatters using the place.  So, I moved from there and fished where I could be sure to see if anyone was coming up on me.
