This morning could not have been more picturesque.  Beautiful sunrise, fog on the water, bit of a chill in the air.  All our fish came along the edge of the grass and none out of the trees surprisingly. We worked the grassline flipping creatire baits and snagged a few near the ramp.  Then that bite died out, and a wacky rig senko in a junebug color got a few more in the boat.  After the sun got good an high and it warmed some we got on a solid bite throwing a white and chartruse swimbait and jackahmmer parallel to the grass lines.  This was the best "Pattern" we found.  We picked up fish over most of the bank line with this.  The back half of the lake is unfishable with extremely thick grass and slop.   All in all 30 dinks went in the cooler, and 2 15" fish went back in.   We saw absolutely nothing over 16" today.  Cull, cull, cull! The forage is plentiful and so is the cover, this lake will be very solid quality if we do our part and keep culling.

As a last note, the ramp is VERY shallow. I would be careful bringing a larger boat than 16' unless it is very light and easy to float off the trailer.  I had to put my back bumper in the water to get my 15' skiff of the trailer, the gravel ramp is solid though!
