Took my son and wife for half day, only managed to get 3 bites. 2 were small 13” and my son lost a very nice one, I believe it was over 5lb. That was it. First couple of times in this property we could get at least 20 small sized ones within the first hour, which made my 4yo really enoy it. No boat needed, we would fish from the wooden dock. Now at least 1/3 of the lake is overrun by vegetation, even the dock, making it impossible to fish from shore. it is very difficult to fish with the boat as well because all we would get is “vegetals” as my son would call them, fishing anything other than topwaters. Senko watermelon usually gets the job done.

There is no running water on the covered area and they took the table out as well, will need to bring a table if you want to picnic in there. The main gate does not work with auto opening, you need to get down and release a small chain to get it open. This is such a beautiful and convenient spot, we will continue to go in hopes it gets some upkeeping done.
