Lures Used : Whopper Plopper, TX Rigged Worm and Creature

On the water at 7:30 to a morning that was completly overcast with intermintnet very very light rain and very little wind – topwater time. Missed a strike on a propping frog, missed a strike on a buzzbait so I switched to a Whopper Plopper – they didn’t miss those double trebel hooks.  Caught 5 on topwater throughout the morning including the 5 lber. Caught one throwing Whopper Plopper onto the steep bank right above the water (wanted it close to the bank but not that close) fish hit it as soon as it hit the water.  Other we’re caught with TX rrigged worm or creature bait. Didn’t want swimbait, swim jig, jig or ned rig.
