8/22-8/25 inaugural trip as Coordinator!

update:  Victor McClure is now a family member level participant PWF Member has yes a better more improved Pond King Sport being built concurrently with even more features improved than my newer one

5 PWF members and 1st time guest Victor McClure of Prosper, TX.  Victor is my next door neighbor.

5th outing on new Pond King Sport.  Spot lock, running live well, and depth finder are game changers and major advantage.   I'm learning more every trip!  Which is cool

Diego Lopez of Richardson, TX

Ed Coffey of North Houston area

Paul Sanders of Norman OK

Paul Brinson of Flowermound. TX

We all pitched in on food and drinks, who would bring which items to make it work.  Teamwork makes the dream work!

Diego Lopez brought tasty pastries which we enjoyed daily. Thank you Diego!

Ed Coffey’s sweet wife sent us homemade Manicotti with fresh Caesar salad night 1.

We fried in peanut oil hush puppies, large Texas Gulf shrimp, and daily catch both Friday and Saturday nights!

The watermelon and honey crisp apples were tasty treats but came in behind the fresh Cooper peaches from Texas, which I ate daily. Thank you Ed!

Paul Brinson prepared scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and finely prepared sausage, salsas, fresh cheeses, tortillas, ready daily by 5:30 am. Thank you Paul!

Victor and Diego made a trip to town Saturday lunch and picked up more necessities, thank you both!!

Paul Sanders of Norman OK brought the most delicious premium cold cuts and FIXINS I’ve ever seen/eaten. 7 different cheeses, Pastrami, Salamis, Roast beef, turkey, ham, etc, killer different breads to choose from which we ate on daily! Thank you Paul!

They already asked me to Coordinate this trip every quarter moving forward which I starting now.  Thus it has already begun

We also are planning a trip to Sinaloa, Mexico, lake Baccarac likely early December.  I have already been once and felt completely safe.  Felt as royalty while arriving, while there, leaving, and flying back home.

We fished no boat Thursday evening lodge lake below main clubhouse and totaled 30 Bass in less than 2 hours time.

Paul Sanders won the day with 11 Bass, followed by Ed Coffey with 9!

We fished Friday and Saturday 4 sessions with lunch break from 11:00 am – 2:30.

4 people fished Sunday morning session.

Victor Saturday big bass, end of day, jig and craw in deeper water Acker 4.40 lbs.

Your’s truly took Saturday’s honor with a 4.50lb on Crabtree.

Paul Sanders took the honor Sunday morning, with a 5.8 again Acker!

Just got off the phone with Paul Sanders, and we had some good chuckles about our recent trip together Cody Ranch!

"Hey man, did you take Victor off property and down the county line road leading y'all further away from here?"  😆

Paul gave me great suggestions for next time.

He educated me on Osage, which is the native Indian term for nap.

I hereby declare mandatory naps!  Osages...

He also made a great recommendation of getting to the water earlier.

Think about it:   We should have been on the water by 1st light each day, then colossal OK sandwich and fresh Cooper peaches, then mandatory Osages.

I appreciate all of you for being so helpful!

no matter the order:

fishing, food, fellowship
